Yangshuo has been rock climbers' mecca in China for many years ever since Todd Skinner bolted the first route. There are many great crags here with easy climbs for beginners and hard climbs for advanced climbers, with this being said, everyone can enjoy the happiness that rock climbing brings here in Yangshuo.
This place is called Swiss Cheese Crag, one of the crags for beginners in Yangshuo, got its name from the cheese-like holes on the rock face. As you can see on the picture above. It's really like a Swiss cheese, but on a mountain.
At the foot of the mountain, there's a bamboo bush, which gives a great shade when it's hot, nice place to hang out with rock climbing friends.
Hua, my climbing partner, the guy on the left is a very good licensed rock climbing instructor, has been teaching rock climbing for about 10 years in Yangshuo.

A lot of people think rock climbing is very hard to do, but it's not, it depends on the route you go on. Yangshuo has great many routes that you can choose from, and climbing under instructions of a proper instructor is very important.
